Wealth and also the “R” Word
Individuals with money never describe themselves as “rich”. It just isn’t done. The saying “rich” has far too many negative implications.
The Rich are spoken of in conversation and also the media like a remote class of folks that are somehow morally suspect because they use a lot of cash. However hardworking they might happen to be acquiring it, they’re defined inside eyes in the “have-nots” by money alone. The Rich are made to be separate, oblivious and not able to understand the world everyone else lives in. Who does desire to be identifed with this?
